    The Alaska Highway has been called “The Trail of 42,” “the longest main street,” and “the crooked road.”  The highway, a World War II project, didn’t spring from nowhere.

    Join us as we take a topical look at the idea of a highway, the promotion of the idea, the wartime building of the highway, and the postwar conversion from military road to civilian highway.

    ATA's First Vice-President, Eric Knapp, is a resident of Alaska and has done exhibits on several topics related to Alaska.

    Raj Rajan is an accomplished philatelist, award winning exhibitor and member of the ATA Board of Directors. His collecting and exhibiting interests include Mahatma Gandhi, Indian history, the East India Companies, and the fascinating postal connections between India and the wider world.

    The Hamilton Stamp Club Fall Fair 2026 will be held November 6 and 7 at Bishop Ryan Catholic Secondary School, 1824 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, Ontario.  


    Show hours are Friday, November 6, 4:30 pm - 9 pm and Saturday, November 7, 10 am – 3 pm.  

    Friday evening will have a large voice auction at 6:30 pm with viewing 4:30 – 6:30 pm.  There will be four guest club Sales Circuits on Friday evening 5 – 9 pm.  

    Saturday includes a 12+ dealer bourse with stamps, postcards, covers and supplies plus Silent Auctions, Club Sales Circuit and Youth Booth with free prizes and stamps for students.  Free admission, free parking, building is accessible friendly and light food, refreshments will be available.
